Job Creators Network Applauds Senate Passage of Coronavirus Rescue Package

Washington, D.C. (March 26, 2020)— Late Wednesday night, the U.S. Senate passed an emergency rescue package to keep the economy afloat during the coronavirus outbreak.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network, released the following statement:

“Job Creators Network, on behalf of the small businesses of America, wishes to thank the Senate for passing vital economic stimulus legislation. This phase 3 of relief is a tremendous help to America’s small business community and will provide a bridge back to a healthy economy.  As President Trump has repeatedly said, small businesses are the engine that drives the U.S. economy. This isn’t a bailout for small business and its employees; it’s a lifeline. As lawmakers consider future and additional options should they be needed, JCN advocates for a targeted payroll tax cut – good through the end of the year – for businesses and employees with no more than a hundred workers. That additional legislation would benefit employers as well as employees and keep America growing during these difficult times.”
