Job Creators Network Applauds SBA-Treasury Small Business Loan Mobilization Plan

JCN will help mobilize small business owners as guidelines are announced

Washington, DC – (March 31, 2020) — Today, the Small Business Administration and the Treasury Department announced their guidelines for the $349 billion Paycheck Protection Program (PPP), the centerpiece of the CARES Act that will help small business owners sustain their businesses and keep their workers employed. Small business owners can apply for the PPP at their local bank starting Friday, April 3. The application can be downloaded on the Job Creators Network (JCN) website. Click here to apply.

Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, released the following statement:

“Now that we have the guidelines for the Paycheck Protection Program, JCN is going to be leading the way to get this information to America’s small business owners and helping them navigate this process to keep the engine of our economy running. I want to thank Secretary Mnuchin and Administrator Carranza for their outstanding leadership and for going the extra mile to get these guidelines out quickly. This is a lifeline for small business.  Now we need an all-hands-on-deck effort to communicate to America’s 30 million small business owners how to sign up for the program, get them processed in a timely way, and to make sure they are taken care of from start to finish.”
