Job Creators Network Applauds RSC American Worker Task Force Report

Washington, DC (September 22, 2020) — Today, the Republican Study Committee (RSC)’s American Worker Task Force released its new report, Reclaiming the American Dream: Proposals to Empower the Workers of Today and Tomorrow. The report contains more than 100 concrete recommendations to refine our education system, refocus labor policy, and reimagine welfare.

“The RSC deserves tremendous credit for putting together this smart, comprehensive report containing specific solutions to address the needs of today’s workers and the next generation.  There is no question that President Trump and congressional Republicans fueled the best economy in history with the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and other pro-growth policies – an economy that’s coming back stronger than ever, as we overcome the challenges of the pandemic.  But to its credit, the RSC refuses to rest on its laurels. They’ve come up with 118 specific ideas to fuel even more prosperity – specifically, by empowering workers with much-needed reforms on education, labor, and welfare policy.  This is exactly the kind of leadership we need to keep America moving in the right direction, and it sets a powerful contrast with the Democrats’ Big Government agenda that will turn our ‘V-shaped’ recovery into a ‘L-shaped’ depression.”
