Job Creators Network Applauds Congressional Passage of Economic Relief Bill
Washington, DC (December 22, 2020) — On Monday night, the House and Senate passed an economic relief bill that renews the Paycheck Protection Program.
Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN), released the following statement:
“This legislation is a lifeline to America’s small businesses. Before it expired in August, PPP loans saved 51 million jobs and protected 84 percent of all small business employees. Now, with PPP’s renewal, America’s small businesses are better equipped to survive a new round of government-imposed lockdowns. President Trump and Leader McConnell deserve tremendous credit for negotiating this bill and getting it passed through Congress so quickly. We thank all the Members of Congress in both parties who voted for this bill and stood up for small businesses.”
