Job Creators Network Applauds Committee Passage of Key Regulatory Reforms
In response to the House Committee on Small Business advancing seven regulatory reform bills, JCN CEO Alfredo Ortiz issued the following statement:
“We commend the House Committee on Small Business and Chairman Williams for passing important regulatory reforms and answering the call of America’s small business owners who are currently drowning in red tape. According to a Job Creators Network report, the Biden-Harris administration has issued a whopping 923 new regulations in just over three years at a cost of $1.6 trillion. JCN is particularly pleased the Committee passed the Prove It Act, which would hold federal agencies accountable when they fail to properly account for the small business impact of their regulations. The Prove It Act is a key pillar of JCN’s American Small Business Prosperity Plan, a pro-growth agenda we unveiled in September 2022.”
