The success of small businesses are not only integral for a strong economy, but are crucial to the prosperity of the Latino community. In fact, 86 percent of small business growth between 2007 and 2012 can be attributed to Latino entrepreneurs. As a job creator himself, Mr. Puzder knows how to bolster all American businesses—and in the process strengthen the economy.
As the CEO of CKE Restaurants—the parent company of Carl’s Jr. and Hardees—he resurrected the failing company that was on the brink of bankruptcy. After just ten years, the worth of the business skyrocketed from $200 million to roughly $1 billion. Mr. Puzder will apply that successful record to the U.S. economy—expanding job creation and employment opportunities for all Americans.
“Andy Puzder’s understanding of labor markets and job creation stands in contrast to the Labor Department policies of the previous administration,” said Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network. “Puzder will walk back these hostile labor polices and instead focus on reducing the regulatory burden placed onto the business community.”
