Job Creators Network Affirms Culinary Union’s Strong Opposition to Medicare for All
Washington, D.C. (February 19, 2020)– The Culinary Union, a powerful force in the Nevada Democratic caucuses, is rallying its members against Medicare for All, the socialist healthcare plan endorsed by Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren.
Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network, released the following statement:
“Nevada unions are right to be skeptical of Medicare for All managing their healthcare. By rejecting Medicare for All, these union workers are putting their family’s healthcare interests first. Medicare for All destroys the doctor patient relationship and puts government bureaucrats in charge of deciding what medical treatments a patient gets and what prescription drugs patients receive. It would be a healthcare disaster for American workers and their families. We invite all labor unions who put their members first to take a look at our plan, Healthcare For You. It’s personalized healthcare that gives patients maximum choice and control and protects the all-important doctor-patient relationship for themselves and their families – which is the opposite of Medicare for All.”
