Job Creators Network Accepts Membership In the America 250 Civics Education Coalition Led by Education Secretary Linda McMahon
Washington DC – Today Job Creators Network announced it has been invited to and accepted membership in the America 250 Civics Education Coalition led by Education Secretary Linda McMahon. This exclusive coalition — led by the American First Policy Institute in coordination with the U.S. Department of Education — will focus on highlighting the vital role of civic education in preserving the strength and health of our nation. The coalition will help ensure that civic education remains a cornerstone of our national identity and that this historic milestone is celebrated with the attention it deserves.
On Wednesday, JCN CEO Alfredo Ortiz joined Sec. McMahon and the coalition leadership team at an inauguration event in Washington, D.C., where they discussed a strategy to make this effort a success.
Alfredo Ortiz released the following statement:
“On behalf of JCN, I am honored to join the America 250 Civics Education Coalition to promote our nation’s proud history of civics and education freedom as part of the country’s historic 250th birthday celebration. I look forward to working with Sec. McMahon and AFPI to ensure this effort is not only a success but a springboard to renew and expand upon civics education and education freedom in the years to come. Just as they have been a vital component of our nation’s history, they will play a crucial role in our nation’s future.”
