JCN Urges House to Pass Bills Protecting Gas Stoves

Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network, released the following statement urging the House to pass legislation that would ensure Americans continue to have access to gas stoves:

“There is seemingly no limit to the mandates the Biden Administration will impose on the American people to further its ‘Green Energy’ agenda. Gas stoves are the latest target with the Consumer Product Safety Commission and the Department of Energy both working to eliminate from the marketplace this appliance that millions of Americans rely on every day. JCN urges the House to adopt the Gas Stove Protection and Freedom Act, which would prohibit the CPSC from using federal funds to curtail or limit the use of gas stoves or issue rules that would make the price of those products higher. Additionally, the Save Our Gas Stoves Act would block the Department of Energy from finalizing a rule that would significantly limit cooking options for millions of Americans by dramatically increasing the energy efficiency standards or gas stoves.”
