JCN Supports the Family and Small Business Taxpayer Protection Act

Alfredo Ortiz, president and CEO of Job Creators Network (JCN), released the following statement of support for the Family and Small Business Taxpayer Protection Act.

“Biden’s poorly named ‘Inflation Reduction Act’ is a bad deal for everyone, and it’s especially bad for small businesses. The bill calls for an additional 87,000 IRS agents under the pretense of making sure the wealthy pay their fair share, when in reality it would be families and small businesses being targeted. This is why JCN supports the Family and Small Business Taxpayer Protection Act, which would rescind funding for Biden’s army of IRS auditors. The IRS operates on a simple premise for auditing, target those who won’t or can’t fight back and will shut up and pay. One look at their track record confirms this, with the lowest earners being audited at significantly higher rates than everyone else. Small businesses, by nature, don’t have the resources to deal with exploitative auditors scrounging for money. If we want small businesses and our economy to thrive, we need to stop this unnecessary influx of auditors. The Family and Small Business Taxpayer Protection Act can do just that.”
