JCN Running Tax Cuts Commercial Featuring JFK During ‘Meet the Press’

The spot will air in the Washington, D.C. market ahead of Trump’s inauguration

Washington, D.C. (January 16, 2025) – On Saturday, the Job Creators Network (JCN) is airing a commercial urging the new Congress to prioritize making the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act permanent. The commercial, featuring President John F. Kennedy, will air during Meet the Press ahead of Inauguration Day in Washington, D.C.

During his presidency, JFK was a strong proponent of tax cuts—noting that “[t]ax rates are too high today and tax revenue is too low. And the soundest way to raise the revenues in the long run is to cut the rates now.” As the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act nears its expiration at the end of 2025, federal lawmakers should heed his advice and pass tax cuts as soon as possible.

Alfredo Ortiz, JCN Chief Executive Officer, released the following statement:

“After the passage of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in 2017, the economy boomed, with small businesses growing their operations, increasing hiring, and raising wages for employees. With the law set to expire, it’s time for Congress and the incoming Trump administration to pass tax cuts now. As President Kennedy taught us, small business tax cuts are not a partisan issue. It’s a win-win policy that both Republicans and Democrats should get behind.”
