Inflation Hits 41-Year High of 8.5%, Job Creators Network Reacts
Washington, DC (April 12, 2022) — U.S. inflation hit a 41-year high of 8.5 percent, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today.
Alfredo Ortiz, JCN President and CEO, released the following statement:
“President Biden’s spending spree is causing the worst inflation in 41 years. The result is the ‘Biden pay cut,’ as wages can’t keep up with inflation. Biden wants to blame private employers for the price increase but the American people know better. Inflation was tame for four decades, including under the previous administration, until Biden took office. JCN predicted the inflation surge when Biden took office and we expect high inflation to continue. Incredibly, Biden is still trying to repackage ‘Build Back Better,’ which will send inflation past Jimmy Carter levels.”
