Hispanic Vote Coalition Releases Statement on Washington DC Crime Wave
Mary Thomas, executive director of the Hispanic Vote Coalition, released the following statement on last night’s crime wave in Washington DC, where the coalition is holding a meeting tomorrow with leading Hispanic pastors who have traveled to our nation’s capital from across the country:
“The violence, crime, and lawlessness that took place throughout Washington DC last night is but one example of what our communities nationwide experience night after night. Rising crime, unsafe, streets, and small businesses destroyed have become all too common in cities throughout the country. We have had enough of this and demand a change in policies in Washington DC to return law and order to America’s streets and our society.”
