GDP GREW 2.0% IN 3RD QUARTER, JOB CREATORS NETWORK REACTS

Today, the Bureau of Economic Analysis announced that Gross Domestic Product (GDP) rose 2.0 percent in the third quarter of 2021.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN), released the following statement:

“After two strong quarters because of America’s vaccine-induced recovery, GDP growth is slowing to a crawl because of the Democrats’ ‘War on Small Business.’ The Democrats have no excuse for this weak report because there are still about 5.3 million Americans who had a job pre-Covid who don’t have one now. The Democrats’ tax-and-spend policies are fueling inflation and supply chain disruptions that are bringing back memories of the Jimmy Carter era. Incredibly, the Democrats want to double down on these errors by passing a pair of spending bills that will cost trillions of dollars. Once the Administration’s vaccine mandate takes effect, growth will slow even more, as America’s record national worker shortage grows worse.  That’s why JCN is suing the Administration once the mandate is officially unveiled. We should be returning to the pro-growth policies of the previous administration, when America had record-low unemployment and the fastest wage growth in decades before the pandemic struck. We know what works – pro-growth policies to fuel America’s small business community.  The Democrats’ ‘War on Small Business’ has no winners, only losers.”
