BIDEN ANNOUNCES INFRASTRUCTURE DEAL, JOB CREATORS NETWORK REACTS
President Biden announced a $953 billion infrastructure deal that was negotiated with five Democratic Senators and five Republican Senators.
Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN), released the following statement:
“This is Washington at its worst. Why are we spending almost $1 trillion to create jobs when job availability isn’t a problem? We have 9.3 million job openings – an all-time record. Our small business owners are desperate to hire more workers, but they are competing with the government’s overly-generous jobless benefits. Biden created this problem by including these benefits in his $1.9 trillion spending bill in March. Now his solution for the problem he created is to spend another $1 trillion. We are witnessing the worst economic start for any President since Jimmy Carter.”
