BIDEN ADMINISTRATION SUING GEORGIA OVER VOTING LAW, JOB CREATORS NETWORK REACTS

The Justice Department is suing Georgia over its controversial voting law.

Alfredo Ortiz, President and CEO of the Job Creators Network (JCN), released the following statement:

“Fresh off their defeat from their partisan effort to ram through S.1, a federal elections power grab that would destroy election integrity, politicize the FEC, and trample on free speech, Democrats are politicizing the DOJ to do their dirty work via a sour grapes lawsuit against Georgia over its recent voting rights legislation. The lawsuit is a desperate attempt to block commonsense voting legislation that expands voting access while adding a voter ID requirement that is overwhelmingly popular among residents, including nearly two-thirds of black Georgians. Let’s call this lawsuit out for what it really is: An undemocratic, partisan bid to maintain power in Georgia by making it easier to commit election fraud. Americans shouldn’t fall for the lies perpetrated by the DOJ, President Biden, Stacey Abrams, and MLB about Georgia’s voting law. Neither should the courts.”
