Amazon is Bulldozing Small Businesses by Supporting $15 Min. Wage

Washington, D.C. (February 25, 2021)—The Job Creators Network Foundation (JCNF) is continuing to highlight how Amazon is attempting to crush it’s small business competition by pushing a federal $15 minimum wage. As part of the ongoing campaign, JCNF is erecting a new billboard in the heart of Times Square.

The billboard reads: “How does Amazon Bulldoze it’s Main Street competitors without getting dirty? They get Congress to pass a $15 minimum wage.” In parallel, the billboard displays an animated bulldozer crushing Main Street small businesses. View the billboard here.

JCNF’s campaign targeting Amazon, which is housed on PrimeBusinessBuster.com, intends to better educate the public about the more sinister purpose behind the company’s actions.

Elaine Parker, President of the Job Creators Network Foundation, released the following statement:

Amazon’s push to hike entry-level labor costs for every business across the country is clearly a strategy to eliminate their competition. While larger retailers may be the intended target, small businesses will experience the most severe consequences. The federal government recently indicated up-to 2.7 million jobs could be eliminated nationwide as a result of the policy. Amazon already pays its workers a $15 minimum wage, but what works for the largest retailer in the world won’t work for your local bar and grill or hardware shop. Amazon is attempting to bulldoze Main Street and we are determined to stop them.
