Alfredo Ortiz Joins Board of ‘Harvard Salient’

The 'Harvard Salient' is the university’s conservative publication dedicated to restoring free speech and open debate on campus

Washington, D.C. (December 11, 2024) – Today, the Harvard Salient announced that Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network (JCN), is joining its Board of Directors. The Harvard Salient is Harvard University’s only undergraduate conservative publication.

Alfredo will join JCN board member and former Secretary of Labor Alex Acosta on the Salient’s board to oversee student operations, foster relationships, and grow the Salient into a conservative institution at Harvard and beyond campus. Sec. Acosta will serve as the Salient’s Board Director. The Salient works to restore free speech, intellectual rigor, and open debate, combating the liberal echo chamber on Harvard’s campus.

Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of the Job Creators Network, released the following statement:

“I’m delighted to join the board of the Harvard Salient, the only conservative publication on America’s leading university. I am excited to work with Sec. Acosta and the Salient team, led by Sarah Steele, to grow the Salient’s reach, connections, and influence. The Salient is well positioned to fight back against Harvard’s woke transformation and have an impact far beyond campus.”
