3.2 Percent GDP Growth Confirms Booming Trump Economy

Washington, D.C. (April 26, 2019)— Today, the Bureau of Economic Analysis announced that the economy grew by an impressive 3.2 percent in the first quarter of the year.

Today’s strong first-quarter GDP growth is just the latest confirmation of the booming national economy under President Trump. The economy has now grown faster than 3 percent over the last five quarters — something that most economists said could not be done. President Trump promised he’d achieve 3 percent growth and he has delivered again. This impressive growth is thanks to pro-growth policies passed by Trump such as tax cuts, deregulation, and access to credit that allow entrepreneurs and small businesses to flourish. Democrats should recognize that this fast economic growth — not socialism — is the best way to raise living standards for all Americans.
