More Good News from the Trump Administration

There have been a few positive recent developments on the TCJA:

There had been discussion of raising taxes on “the most successful” small businesses as part of the tax package, but Trump nixed that last week. Raising taxes on successful entrepreneurs would have significantly harmed Main Streets and small business competitiveness nationwide. JCN applauds the President’s leadership on this issue.

Also, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has said that July 4th is the new deadline for lawmakers to pass the tax bill. Small businesses need certainty as soon as possible, and JCN appreciates the White House making this issue a priority.
