One Person’s Crumbs Are Another Person’s Cake

Today, the Job Creators Network is running a full-page ad in Politico calling out House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for her comments labeling the benefits from the tax cuts legislation “crumbs.” The ad is titled “One Person’s Crumbs Are Another Person’s Cake” and goes on to say:

Fancy Nancy Pelosi claims the benefits of the recently passed Tax Cuts and Jobs Act amount to “crumbs” for the middle class and has even called it “unpatriotic.” A $1,000 bonus check or a $50 increase in every paycheck might seem like “crumbs” to Pelosi, who’s worth more than $40 million, but it’s cake for Americans paying rent and pumping their own gas.
